Manual Capture

In some cases your store may be utilizing manual capture, you can confirm this by checking the details below.

Go to Shopify settings → Payments → check the “Payment Capture Method”

If you are using manual capture, it is important you know why this is and how it may impact Truemed orders. Truemed orders will sit in a “Payment Pending” state until an LMN has been issued, and at this stage an order cannot be captured. Once the order status changes to “Authorized” you will be able to capture a payment, and this can take up to 48 hours. Please make sure you account for this change in order flows, as orders will go un-captured if the fulfillment process is not set up properly.
